What ingredients do you use?
Real, human-grade ingredients — think oat flour, real peanut butter (always xylitol-free), pumpkin, sweet potato, apple and banana. Every product page lists its full ingredients, and nothing goes in that isn’t appropriate for dogs.
Are the treats made specifically for dogs?
Yes — every recipe is developed for dogs. We never use chocolate, xylitol, grapes/raisins, onion or other ingredients that aren’t dog-appropriate. That said, every dog is different: check the ingredient list against your own pup’s needs and allergies, and ask your vet if you’re unsure.
How should treats be stored?
Keep them refrigerated. Our treats are preservative-free, so the fridge is the best place for them: keep the bag sealed (or move the treats to an airtight container) and they’ll stay fresh much longer. Frozen treats like Pupsicles and Pup Cups go straight into the freezer.
How long do treats stay fresh?
Treats are baked fresh in small batches, so they don’t sit around before they reach you. Kept sealed in the refrigerator, our bone biscuits stay good for at least 3–4 weeks (often longer) — and honestly, they rarely last long enough to expire once a dog knows they’re in the house.
How are orders shipped?
Orders are packed for freshness and shipped within the US; shipping cost is calculated at checkout. Local? Choose free pickup at checkout and grab your order at our Tradition Farmers Market booth on Sunday. Frozen treats are pickup only.
Where can I find you in person?
Come say hi at the Bone Appétreat booth — Tradition Farmers Market, Sundays 9 AM–2 PM in Port St. Lucie. Dogs welcome (obviously). Frozen treats like Pupsicles are easiest to grab in person.
Do you make custom treats?
Yes! Custom birthday cakes and a new decorator line are coming soon, and for parties, adoption events or anything bigger you can request a catering quote today. For anything else, send us a message or DM @BoneAppeTreatFL.
Can I request a specific flavor?
We love a good flavor request! Reach out through the contact page — if it’s something dogs can safely enjoy, it might just end up in the next seasonal batch.
How many treats should I give my dog?
Treats should be a small part of your dog’s overall diet — a general guideline many vets use is that treats make up no more than about 10% of daily calories, but the right amount depends on your dog’s size, age and health. When in doubt, ask your vet. (We know: tell that to the dog.)
