Ingredients

If you wouldn’t recognize it in your own kitchen, it doesn’t go in the mixing bowl.

Real ingredients on the Bone Appétreat counter — gluten-free oat flour, old-fashioned oats, organic pumpkin purée, applesauce and eggs
The short version

Real food. Chosen for dogs.

Bone Appétreat treats are made with human-grade ingredients — real peanut butter (always xylitol-free), real pumpkin, real fruit and simple flours — selected because they’re appropriate for dogs, not because they’re cheap to mass-produce.

  • No artificial preservatives, colors or flavors [Angela to confirm]
  • Never chocolate, xylitol, grapes/raisins, onion or other no-go ingredients for dogs
  • Carob — the dog-safe cocoa alternative — for anything “chocolatey”
  • The full ingredient list published on every single product
Handmade vs. mass-made

Why handmade is different

Short ingredient lists

A handful of real ingredients per recipe — not thirty unpronounceable ones.

Baked to order

Small batches mean your treats were baked recently — not sitting on a shelf for a year.

A person, not a plant

When you order, a real dog lover bakes it. Questions? You can actually ask her.

Dogs in mind, always

Recipes are built around what’s appropriate for dogs — flavor comes second (they haven’t complained).

The honest fine print: every dog is different. Bone Appétreat treats are snacks, not a complete diet, and no treat is right for every dog. Please read ingredient lists, introduce new treats gradually, and talk to your vet about your own dog’s dietary needs and allergies.
